Digging Deeper into Compost

One of the most valuable assets of organic growing

Welcome to the first in my weekly series of “Digging Deeper” and yes, the pun is intentional, even if we follow the principles of minimal soil disturbance or the so-called no dig method.

I thought it would be helpful to share a video I created a while ago now along with a colleague that gives an introduction to compost.

In the world of organic growing, it sits alongside the principle of not using artificial chemicals or fertilisers at the same level, and for us here, it plays a key role in allowing us to grow a great abundance of produce.

We are now in a position to say that we are now self-sufficient on compost, making use of anything and everything that goes into our compost making process.  We keep it simple and so far, so good.

I hope you find this of interest and of course, if you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
